Getting Started
Create an Account
The first thing you’ll do is to create a free account with Invoice Ninja. Yes, that’s right, you can start out entirely for free. You will need to enter a few details, such as your business name, email address, and a password. We recommend choosing a strong password with both upper and lowercase letters, as well as integrating numbers and symbols. After all, if you wish to receive payments through Invoice Ninja and our payment partners, you’ll want to make sure your password is as secure as possible.
After you create your account, you’ll be sent an email to confirm your email address. Once confirmed, you can access Invoice Ninja’s suite of products and services.
Company Information and Logo
After creating an account and logging in, click on the settings option and select “company details.” Here, you’ll be prompted to enter your company’s basic information. We recommend entering as much information as possible.
Some information you should include is:
- Your business’ name
- Your business’ address
- A phone number clients can reach you at
- Any social media handles or tags
After your company details are entered, click on “Logo.” You should be able to upload a company logo to display on your invoice. Always use a high-resolution image so that there is no pixelation visible or blurring when the invoice is opened by your customers. If you don’t have a high-resolution photo, no worries. You can use a lower-resolution image to get started if you need to. You can change your company details and logo anytime you wish.

Now that your company information and logo have been entered into the system, choose the template that best fits your business and needs. Invoice Ninja’s free services include six different templates to choose from.
